The soft raw edge is the finish, not an unfinished one. Wash cool and tumble low rather than hot and hard, and it stays as it arrived.
Do they match the tablecloth exactly?
They are the same stone-washed charcoal flax as the Charcoal Washed Linen Tablecloth. Washed linen is a natural fibre, so expect them to read as the same cloth rather than as a laboratory match.
Are they big enough to be useful?
Each is 45 × 45 cm — cut large enough to actually cover a lap, which is the point of the size.
Can I buy fewer than six?
No. This is sold as a set of six and there is no smaller pack.
Will the charcoal look like the photographs?
Charcoal is photographed by candlelight, and screens render dark tones differently. The depth of the colour in the room may not be the depth on your display.
