304 stainless steel · Clyro
Every patty the same depth.
A stainless ring, a sprung plunger, and one press. The round comes out even, so it meets the pan flat and cooks edge to edge.
The press
One press, one round.
The same idea as the meatball press, applied to a patty. The ring sets the width, the plunger sets the depth, and the two together give you a round of exactly the same shape every time.
An even patty meets the pan flat. That is the whole point: it cooks edge to edge rather than doming in the middle.
The steel
It does not hold onto anything.
304 stainless steel, the same grade as the meatball press. It does not rust or stain, and it does not hold onto what came before.
It comes apart into two pieces for washing and goes back together in a second. Hand wash is recommended.

What it is made of.
Five things worth knowing before you press anything.
304 · stainless
One grade of steel
The same steel as the meatball press. It does not rust, stain or hold onto what came before.
10 · cm across
The size a bun is
A round that matches the bread it goes in, so the patty meets the edge rather than hiding in the middle.
4 · cm deep
Thick or thin
Depth enough that a thick patty is as easy to press as a thin one.
Sprung return
The plunger lifts itself. Press, release, and the patty is left behind rather than pulled apart.

Comes apart
Two pieces for washing, back together in a second.
Ring 10 cm across and 4 cm deep. Overall height 14 cm.
A patty that cooks edge to edge.
Where it earns its place
Two jobs it does well.
Burger night
Ten centimetres across is the size a bun actually is. Press the whole batch to the same depth and they all come off the pan together.
Not only beef
Bean and lentil patties, fish cakes, rösti, sticky rice — anything that needs to hold a round holds it here.
Pairs with the Piston Meatball Press: the same steel, applied to the meatball.

Questions
Before you order.
Is it only for beef?
No. Bean and lentil patties, fish cakes, rösti and sticky rice all hold a round in it — anything that needs to keep its shape.
Does the patty stick in the ring?
The plunger is sprung, so it lifts itself after the press. The patty is left behind rather than pulled apart.
How do I clean it?
It comes apart into two pieces for washing and goes back together in a second. Hand wash is recommended.
Will it make a thick patty?
Yes. The ring is 4 cm deep, so a thick patty presses as easily as a thin one, and each one comes out the same depth.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within one to two weeks, with tracking from the moment the parcel is scanned. Shipping is free on every order.
