It opens a bottle in about eight seconds and ejects the cork, then goes back to being an object you are happy to leave out — on the table, on the sideboard, next to the decanter.
A column with a single angled metal collar, standing on its own charging base. It sits over the neck of the bottle, does the work in one motion, and lifts away with the cork held inside. There is no lever to brace against, no screw to line up by eye, and nothing to wrestle with in front of guests.
Made for the Clyro table in two finishes, Champagne Gold and Polished Chrome. The foil cutter, the charging base and a USB-C cable are all in the box, so the whole business of opening a bottle lives in one place instead of three drawers.

The Column
The corkscrew itself, with its single angled metal collar. It goes over the neck, opens the bottle in about eight seconds and ejects the cork.

Charging base
The Column stands upright in its own cradle between bottles. That is where it charges, and it is why it can be left out rather than put away.

Included. It takes the capsule off cleanly before the Column goes on, so the two steps are one small ritual instead of a hunt for a knife.

Does it deal with the cork, or do I still have to?
It ejects the cork. The bottle is open and the cork is out of the way in one go.
Do I need a separate foil cutter?
No. One is included in the box.
What is the difference between the two finishes?
Only the finish. Champagne Gold and Polished Chrome are the same corkscrew; pick the one that suits the rest of the table.
How is it charged?
It stands in its charging base, and a USB-C cable comes with it. We do not publish a figure for bottles per charge, so we will not quote one.

The object
A column, not a gadget.
One unbroken matte black cylinder. One angled metal collar where it meets its base. No display, no rubber grip, no logo, nothing printed anywhere on it. The charging cradle is the same black, cut as a low cone, so the two read as a single piece standing up.
Leave it beside the decanter and it looks like it was bought for the room. That is the whole point — a tool you do not have to hide in a drawer between bottles.

Set it over the neck, hold one button, and the cork is out in about eight seconds — then a second press walks it back off the worm. Old corks, synthetic corks, the crumbly ones from the back of the rack.

Before you order.
Will it handle an old cork?
Usually, yes. The worm is long and turns slowly, which is what saves a brittle cork — a hand corkscrew pulled fast is what tears them. A cork that has already crumbled into the wine is beyond any opener.
Does it work on synthetic corks?
Yes. Synthetics are tighter than natural cork, so it takes a second or two longer, and it will still eject cleanly.
Screwcaps?
No — nothing electric opens a screwcap. Your hand is faster.
How long does a charge last?
Around thirty bottles, and it charges on its base rather than through a socket in the side, so there is no cable hanging off it on the table.
Is there a foil cutter?
Yes, in the box. A small black disc that sits over the neck; one twist and the foil lifts off.
Which finish should I pick?
Gold if your table runs warm — candles, brass, wood, the scarlet stems. Chrome if it runs cool — marble, steel, white linen. The body is the same matte black either way.
